Mission Statement: At Rompe El Silencio, our mission is to break the silence surrounding abuse and provide comprehensive support to victims in our community. As a dedicated team of Hispanic women who have experienced and witnessed the impact of abuse, we are committed to raising awareness, advocating for change, and offering vital resources to those affected. We empower survivors of childhood trauma, with abuse being one of our primary focuses, to heal from their wounds and reclaim their light. We are dedicated to building a safe and supportive community where stories can be shared, truths will be heard, and the cycle of silence and "family secrets" will end. With a community standing firm by your side, we will face the darkness and foster healing, promoting a healthy transition armed with new coping skills that work for each individual. We inspire a future where every voice is heard, and every child is protected. It’s never too late to heal—it’s time to bring light to the shadows.

We aim to:

• Raise Awareness: Educate the public about the various forms of abuse, including emotional, physical, and neglect, and the generational cycles that perpetuate them.
• Provide Resources: Deliver essential support and healing for all victims, regardless of age, gender, or background, ensuring they find safety and empowerment.
• Educate the Community: Equip individuals with the knowledge to identify abuse, understand the complexities of victimization, and challenge stigmas and stereotypes.
• Advocate for Change: Push for policy improvements and better rehabilitation programs for abusers, fostering healthier interactions and breaking patterns of violence.
